The 2022 Porsche Macan is available in three trims – Macan, Macan S, and Macan GTS, all of which have unique engine configurations and technical specifications.

Are the Engines Powerful? 

The base trim of the 2022 Porsche Macan comes with a 2.0-liter turbocharged Inline-4 engine that can generate a maximum of 261 horsepower and 295 lb-ft torque. The 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung transmits engine power to all wheels of the car. The base Macan can accelerate up to 60 MPH in 6 seconds and 5.8 seconds with the Sport Chrono Package.

On the other hand, the Macan S comes with a 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 engine that can produce a maximum output of 375 horsepower and 383 lb-ft torque. The Macan S can race up to 60 MPH from zero in about 4.6 seconds and 4.4 seconds with the Sport Chrono Package.

The top-end trim – Macan GTS comes with the same 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 engine as the Macan S but can make 434 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque. At its best, the Macan GTS can speed up to 60 MPH in just 4.3 seconds and 4.1 seconds with the Sport Chrono Package.
